Hi! This is Abubakar Fareed.

I’m not a fan of being tickled, however I’m going to stimulate your taste buds with the Phenomenal chicken kebab from India. I like to call it the Pickle-Tickle Chicken Drumsticks. Join me in picking and tickling.

  1. 2 Dry Red Chillies
  2. 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
  3. 1/4 tsp Nigella Seeds
  4. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  5. 1 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
  6. 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  7. 1 tsp Black Peppercorns
  8. 1/4 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  9. 4 Chicken Drumsticks
  10. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  11. 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  12. 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  13. 1 & 1/2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  14. 2-3 tbsp of Curd 2 12 tbsp Chickpea flour (roasted) (roasted) (as necessary)
  15. 2 tbsp Pickle Puree 2 Tbsp Mustard Oil

To make a pickle tickle we’ll make the masala. I’m planning to include 2 dry red chillies. Cumin seeds. Nigella Seeds. Mustard Seeds. Coriander Seeds. Fennel Seeds. Black Peppercorn and Fenugreek Seeds. We will roast them lightly. One interesting aspect of pickling spices is that they are used to preserve food in the Northern India. My pickle spices are well cooked. I’m planning on grinding them into a fine powder. The pickling spice is in the process of being prepared like you see. The first step is to marinate. In the next step, I’m going make gashes inside the chicken to ensure that the marination is deep inside. My chicken’s gash is complete. It’s time to begin the marinating. The first step is to include Turmeric Powder. Red Chilli Powder. Lemon juice. Ginger-Garlic paste. I’m planning to mix it well. Once I’ve mixed the masala and the chicken. I’m planning to add 2-3 Tbsp. of Curd. 2 tbsp. 2 tbsp. Roasted Chickpea flour. I’m planning to add 1 tablespoon. Pickle Spice. Some Salt. To add a bit of spark to the marination I’m adding Pickle Puree. Then, lastly, Mustard Oil. Let’s mix it all together. Then, let the margins extend into the gashes. Spices that are picked and combined with chicken provide a lot of flavor when they are properly resting in the marinating. This time, I’ll leave it for at the least half an hour. The chicken is well relaxed in the marinade. We’ll now begin grilling. In the beginning, I’m going warm the pan. Add Oil.

The pan is heated Now, I’ll begin placing all the drumsticks and cook until it is perfect. I’ll keep flipping the chicken every so often to ensure that there is a perfect cooking all sides. Don’t let the marinade go to in vain, if there is any marinade is left, apply it to the chicken. In order to ensure that the chicken does not get dry. My chicken is getting done. The next step is to sprinkle some basting on it to keep my chicken soft and moist. The chicken is cooked properly. The next step is to sprinkle on some Coriander and allow it to cook for a few minutes and after that, we’ll begin the plating. The chicken is done and we can begin plating. For garnish I’ll sprinkle some chopped Coriander. You’re done, folks; the Pickle Tickle chicken drumstick is all set.

I hope you enjoyed the an itch and a tickle from this recipe.

Do not forget to bake for your friends and family.
